The Vine by [..] (to be published in Christmas Party souverneer)

I can’t believe this is all what’s left off that vine!
The Root!!

Sometime ago, this vine was healthy & rich.
Shading me with its leaves,
Fulfilling my hunger with its dazzling fruits,
Aromatizing me with its beautiful flowers,
Hurting me with its intoxicating thorns,
Even binding & gagging me from its ever-growing self,
And making me immovable & senseless,
Of anything else.

But, alas, look at it now…
Dying & hopeless
Mutilated & brutally injured

It's a pity no one else misses this vine,
for its astounding beauty & its deadly effect.
Such as a rose & its thorn
But,
No one else could see it to start it...
And a very few knew it's existence.

It's not because the vine had unearthly powers!
But simply because there wasn't such a vine...
Except within these walls of my mind.

<-*->

I became a man with a mind of a microchip
And a heart of a power supply to that chip.
Machines talk to me & tell me
about a species called humans...
Who created them & enslave them
until they expire..

I see these "humans" around me...
Talking, laughing, walking
most of the time.

Only with a few I have made contact,
beyond their misleading interfaces.
And the rest, for me, are just
faces..

From these faces,
as I see stares simply as rigid blankness
& hear voices simply as random sounds
I miss my vine.
Since this was what it made me,
by its near death.
A living machine,
Scared, unprotected, naked and numb,
for all things around me..

But unfortunately, it has left me,
as soon as I left her.

<-*->

She used to race my heart with a single look,
with pure innocence in her eyes..
It always drilled a bore through me,
shredding light to my murky insides
of my mind,
giving me hope & strength
to survive,
when anything could've died with thrust,
for peace of mind.

She used to make me forget everything else,
with a single call of my name,
making myself at all ears,
and at her service,
Because, after all,
Her want, was my need!

She used to make me envy anything
closer to her, even for a moment,
than I could be.
telling myself about a destiny,
that I didn't believe in to start with!

She used to get me thinking.. How?
How I should get her to feel,
a fraction of what I feel to her!
A thought which got me bound & gagged,
& made my mind burn.
Like a fly trying to reach
the brightest flame,
Which will soon be it's grave..

<-*->

And now I lie,
burnt out,
of love & all the thoughts surrounding
leaving just the root..
the root of the vine!

I was forced destroyed it,
But I couldn't kill what's left of it.
Someday this root may grow back
to the former self of beauty,
with the hope it will not scar me..
never more...

Until then...
I will continue to
survive and function..

Life is........ Mechanical....@ least for me!

Sometime ago it wasn't... I was troubled bad by external things... I got into trouble by going after things I thought I could reach. As a result was tormented, by pursuing that as my goal...

Now, by being physically away from that, I have made a sanctuary for myself.. Now I'm not that worried, but all the same not that happier that I was sometimes... This is good for me, I think..

So.. that's life!!!

Rising Tied - Not upto standards

Thanks to MnM, I was fortunate to get hold of a copy of The Rising Tied... Unfortunately, after years of LINKIN PARK songs, the album comparatively gave a horrible reputation to Mike Shinoda, which I admire the most!!!!

I found myself yearning to hear the meledic guitar chords by Brad Delson & the mindblogging screams of Chester Bennington (the best in the field) throughout the album. On the contrary what I heard were Mike trying to be street!!!!

LP has this standard which I totally respect "NO FILTH, NO DRUGS!!!". Don't you understand that most ppl use filth & drugs cos they show that these things are cool!!!??? The main ppl who are responsible are Rappers & hard rock bands, which LP proved themselves innocent of, making it's mark as socially responsible!!!!

Disappointingly Fort Minor brutally destroyed the good deed, with filth all over it & a song titled "Cigarette". This was Mike's attempt to be "street"!!!!

But the album is lovely for the non LP fan + the typical Rap fan.. The tracks are definitely unique which is only somewhat true regarding the lyrics

Retrosexual to the bone!!!!

Thats what I am... Figured out once one of my friends explained what metrosexual & retrosexual mean..

Metrosexual is a person addicted to make him look good by doing, well, what women do!! They wear jewellary, wear makeup & that sorta thing.. More of a Reggie!!

Retrosexual is the more traditional guy.. More like Jughead.. Not exactly, but.. un-Reggie like!!

Man I can never be a metrosexual... I mean, women are .. that!! aren't they?? a man should be what a man is!!!!

The wages of sin are death, but by the time taxes are taken out, it's just sort of a tired feeling.
- Paula Poundstone
Human beings are perhaps never more frightening than when they are convinced beyond doubt that they are right.
- Laurens Van der Post
When a stupid man is doing something he is ashamed of, he always declares that it is his duty.
- George Bernard Shaw
The great thing about democracy is that it gives every voter a chance to do something stupid.

Dan Brown

Well, that's something I had a lot for the past few days.. I only have to read Deception point to finish all of his books & I got the ebook!

After reading Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons & Digital Fortress, I see that Dan Brown should start writing Fairy Tails, cos his stories are lovely but the facts are sh*t!!!
Cos for what I've found out, his stories do stand a long way from the real thing

But still, those stories can really keep you in the edge of your seat!!!!!

Jingle all the way

Da Vinci Code

Always the book is better than the movie!!!!

That's what I believe & that's why I read the book!!!!

That book was definitely the best book I ever read, not just because of the conspiracy, but mainly beacause of the deeper meanigs & encryptions that the book talks about!!! I mean, it's bloody amazing how Dan Brown has created this whole "out of this world" things that he manages to extract from the past & how everything makes sense in the end!!! His way of writing & his style is exellent!!!

Too bad most of the book is proven false in the web!!!

1.618 is known as PHI in Mathematics. 1 : PHi is supposed to be the Golden Ratio, the most perfect ratio of all time!!! Apparently, every thing in this universe is supposed to be made to comply with this ratio.
& also, Fibbonachi has a huge connection with this as well, Check http://www.goldenmeangauge.co.uk/fibonacci.htm to find that out!!!
Actually found this scene when I was reading Da Vinci Code (Here's the eBook)

Amazing!!!!

Are you scared of Skeletons

Did you ever think of YOUR OWN SELF as a skeleton inside of us which move & talk & do everything as we do????

Does that make us scared of our own selves???
